The four-day long 17th conference of Bangladesh Network Operators Group (BDNOG) is starting from Tuesday. The BdNOG 17 is jointly organized in association with the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB). The conference will hold three days of technical workshops and one day of Biding conference. Regarding the matter, the Board of Trustee Chairman Sumon Ahmed Sabir said that, We have been organizing this conference regularly with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience among Bangladeshi engineers, conducting various operational researches, promoting local ICT talents at the international level and helping to provide better internet for Bangladesh.

ISPAB President Emdadul Haque said, I hope that through this conference, the professional skills of the domestic participants will be enriched along with the overall development of the Internet sector. Skilled engineers trained through the Biding conference are already contributing to earning foreign exchange by creating their own workplaces abroad. Hope we can jointly contribute to increase the skill of more engineers.

Rashed Amin Bidyut, President of BdNog, said that if we want to improve the overall management and infrastructure of the Internet in our country, the knowledge and professionalism of the engineers directly related to it should be increased. Through such technology conferences, local and international experts exchange their experiences together. As a result, over the past few years we have seen our Internet engineers grow in skill. So we want to continue the process of improving the quality of engineers through Biding conferences.

ISPAB Secretary General Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan said, I hope that through this conference, skilled engineers will be created and they will play a role in providing safe internet services nationally and internationally.

BdNOG general secretary Baraktul Alam Biplab said, "On the occasion of the conference, papers have already been invited from local engineers on practical and academic research of the Internet. We hope that the research papers will help to analyze the various limitations of internet in Bangladesh and improve its quality".
